A wealthy businessman checking up on his buzzing factory
Thanks to the abolishment of the traditional class structure, the power and wealth is spreading through the middle class like wildfire. The middle class, which is comprised of businessmen and other professionals (doctors, engineers, etc), are now separated from the working class by their staggering differences. The businessmen drive the ongoing revolution everyday. They constantly seek to improve the factories and machines to increase their profits which benefit all industries. Doctors and engineers keep, sadly, some of the population healthy to keep society running. Most of the middle class currently have the same amount, if not more, riches than the nobility and clergy. However, the immense growth of the middle class has made a more obvious gap between them and the working class (industrial workers.) Because of this gap, the middle class is no longer classified as the same as the working class. Therefore, this has been a 180 degree change from the traditional class structure. The change is a sign that the industrial revolution is a major change that will not only happen in Great Britain, but around the world.
